| John J. Youle
U.S. citizen. Executive President of ConsultAndes, S.A. Having worked in Peru for fifteen years, Mr. Youle has extensive experience dealing with the Peruvian business and political sectors. Prior to founding ConsultAndes, S.A., in 1995, he was the Vice President of Institutional Relations for the Southern Peru Copper Corporation, which was Peru's largest foreign investment company. Previously, Mr. Youle was a career Foreign Service Officer for the United States of America. Over the course of twenty-five years of service, he worked in several Latin American and European countries, including in the position of Deputy Chief of Mission and Charge d'Affaires of the United States Embassies in Lima, Peru; Quito, Ecuador; and, Montevideo, Uruguay. Additional relevant postings included: Medellin, Colombia; Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic; and, Panama City, Panama, where he was the Political Advisor to the Commanding General of the Southern Command. Mr. Youle is active in Peruvian and international business and non-profit organizations. He was a three-term President of the American Chamber of Commerce of Peru, where he currently is President of the Investment Committee and of the Executive Council of the Arbitration Center. He is a Vice President and member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Latin American Chambers of Commerce (AACCLA). Mr. Youle also serves as a Director and Member of the Executive Committee and the Mining Sectoral Committee of the National Society of Mining, Petroleum and Energy (SNMPE), and Director of the Society of Foreign Commerce (COMEXPERU). He sits on the Board of the Institute of Social Responsibility, the Fulbright Commission, the Peruvian affiliate of United Way (in formation), and the Institute of the Citizen. Jaime Garcia Diaz Peruvian citizen. Executive Vice President of ConsultAndes S.A. His areas of expertise include energy, import/export matters, and pharmaceuticals. He has extensive experience working with North American companies, having spent five years as the General Manager of the American Chamber of Commerce of Peru. Mr. Garcia's business experience includes financial management for various Peruvian textile companies and serving for two years as a Substitute Director of the Board of Telefónica, Peru's largest telecommunication company. He also has significant government experience, having served as Peru's Vice Minister of Industry and as the Vice Minister of Tourism, Integration, and International Trade Negotiations. On behalf of the Inter-American Development Bank, Mr. Garcia worked as an Advisor to both the Nicaraguan and Panamanian Ministries responsible for industry and commerce. In addition, he spent a year as the President of the Organization of the American States' Special Committee on Trade and as the President of its Advisory Group. For the past five years, Mr. Garcia has been a Professor of Peruvian Economy and International Trade Negotiations at the University of Lima and has been a Contributing Editor of one of Peru's leading newspapers, El Comercio. Several significant international organizations have employed him as a specialist and contributing expert, including the U.S. Agency for International Development, the European Union Commission, and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization John P. Youle U.S. citizen. Chief Operating Officer of ConsultAndes, S.A. He previously worked as Vice President of Business Development and Marketing for DVTel, Inc., a US-based broadband equipment company. Prior to that, he was Vice President of Business Development and Sales for ExchangePath LLC, a CMGI company that offered an on-line payment service. In addition, he also was a Principal Consultant in the Information Communications and Entertainment practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers' Management Consulting Services organization, where he primarily advised Fortune 500 telecommunications service providers and equipment manufacturers on operations, marketing, and sales-related matters. Mr. Youle also was an Associate in the International Telecommunications Practice of Squire, Sanders, and Dempsey; there he participated in several telecommunications privatization processes, including those of Entel and CPT of Peru, Entel Bolivia, and SPT Telecom of the Czech Republic. Mr. Youle has an MBA from Columbia University, a JD from Northwestern University School of Law, and a BA from Dartmouth College. Maria Pilar Olaya Guerrero Peruvian citizen. Ms. Olaya is the Director of Communications of ConsultAndes. She has a decade of experience in the management and administration of social programs, for both public and private institutions. This work has included the areas of communications, marketing, sales, advertising, and human resources. Ms. Olaya has worked as the Projects Director at APOYO Communications (a strategic communications and polling organization), Vice President of the IRTP (Peruvian Institute of Radio and Television), National Director of Literacy programs and Manager of Education for Development of PROMUDEH (Ministry for the Advancement of Women and Human Development), Marketing Manager with The Peru Report, General Secretary of OSITRAN (Supervisory Organization for Transportation Infrastructure), and Chief of Collections for the Department of Piura for the SUNAT (National Superintendent for Tax Administration). José Morales Wu Peruvian citizen. Account Executive. Mr. Morales is responsible for day-to-day management of several accounts, as well as the implementation of client-related projects. He has worked for the Peruvian Congress's Human Rights and Pacification Commission, as well as the communications branches of PROMUDEH (Ministry for the Advancement of Women and Human Development) and the Banco de Crédito. Mr. Morales graduated from the University of Lima with a degree in Communications Sciences. Julio Arce Peruvian citizen. Press Coordinator for ConsultAndes. Mr. Arce has worked as an Editor in the Economy and Business section of the El Comercio newspaper. He has also worked in Hidrostal S.A., Castrol Peru, the Dominio Consulting Group, and the ANAR Foundation. Mr. Arce has a degree in Communications Sciences from the University of Lima. |
